                  Where We Are

The El Sapucai Mountain Refuge is located southeast of San Carlos de Bariloche, on the banks of the Chubut River, surrounded by the vastness of the Patagonian Andes.

From Bariloche, a transfer of approximately three and a half hours takes us through the lake region of Nahuel Huapi National Park to this unique corner of Patagonia, where our horseback adventure begins.

El Sapucai Mountain Lodge is located on the banks of the Chubut River, surrounded by the vastness of the Patagonian Andes. This refuge combines the warmth of a mountain lodge with the tranquility of a unique natural environment.

After each day, this is the perfect place to rest, share a meal and enjoy a warm atmosphere, where the wood-burning stove invites you to gather, creating a space to disconnect, recharge, and experience the mountains in their purest form.

Accommodation in Yurts

Located on the banks of the Chubut River, the yurts offer a comfortable and welcoming space to relax after each day of horseback riding. Their sturdy construction combines the charm of this traditional type of accommodation with the comforts of modern glamping, allowing you to enjoy Patagonia while remaining connected to nature.

Each yurt features a wooden floor, a wood-burning stove, a private bathroom, and comfortable beds, providing privacy and a relaxing experience in the heart of nature.

Four nights at El Sapucai

We'll spend four nights at El Sapucai, surrounded by the vastness of Patagonia. There's no cell phone signal or electricity, allowing us to disconnect from the daily routine and reconnect with nature. For added safety, the lodge has a satellite phone available exclusively for emergencies.

Mountain Flavors

Meals are just as much a part of the experience as horseback riding. After each day, we'll gather around the table to share homemade dishes prepared with local ingredients, enjoying the flavors that characterize Patagonian cuisine.

The wood-burning stove brings warmth to every gathering, creating a warm and family atmosphere where each meal is enjoyed without haste, surrounded by the tranquility of the mountains.

If you follow a vegetarian diet or have any dietary restrictions, simply let us know when making your reservation so we can prepare a menu tailored to your needs.

Important information

Allergies to stings

From February onwards, the presence of wasps is common in the region. If you are allergic to their stings, please inform us before departure so that our team can take the necessary precautions in case of any eventuality.

In addition, it is essential that you take the medication prescribed by your doctor throughout the entire experience.

Tips

In Argentina, it is common to acknowledge the team's work through a voluntary tip when the service has been satisfactory; it is a way of recognizing the commitment and dedication of those who make the experience possible.

As a reference, we suggest considering USD 10 per person, per day, although the amount is at the discretion of each traveler and will be given to the team at the end of the journey.
